Shaheed Udham Singh Panjab University Constituent College, Guru Har Sahai, Distt. Ferozepur, was established under the auspices of Panjab University in collaboration with Punjab Govt. and U.G.C. in 2011. The College is situated on Ferozepur-Fazilka highway near Guru Har Sahai town at a distance of 37km from Ferozepur. The College was initiated to cater to the needs of students in educationally backward areas in order to provide them access to quality education. Having been established just over a decade ago, now the Institution, under the hawk’s eye vision of its parent institution the Great Panjab University, Chandigarh, has been continuously working towards the growth and holding a proud position in the field of education.
Affiliated to Panjab University Chandigarh, the college started with just three undergraduate courses and one post graduate diploma course. Today 11 years down the lane we are proud to announce that this College is a renowned for its holistic academic atmosphere and knowledge imparting skills flourishing with great results. We hold pride in the fact that our college has a strength of nearly 1500 students and a highly qualified staff, who explore excellence in the field of education, sports, crafts etc. We at Shaheed Udham Singh Constituent College have made the choice to strive for excellence in all that we inculcate in our students to make them understand and imbibe honesty and competence and a will to break out of monotony to be creative so that they understand the power of imagination.
The College has a beautiful campus with imposing building, lush green lawns and playground, extremely well-equipped Lecture Galleries, Library and Reading Hall and Air-Conditioned Computer Laboratories. The Whole college campus is connected with a stand-by most modern generator. The college has modern and super special solar power generation system for the benefit of students and staff.
